    Job DescriptionStructural Engineer
    FARIES PKWY DECATUR, IL


    • Designing structural components and Performing advanced structural
    analysis and simulations prepare reports, designs, and drawings.

    • Leading discussions with architects, contractors, and other
    stakeholders. Reviewing and approving project drawings and
    specifications. Overseeing the structural design process for complex
    engineering projects. Consulting on high-level engineering challenges
    and providing expert advice

    • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders,
    and partners

    • Contributing to the development of company standards and practices.
    Leading risk assessments and ensuring compliance with industry
    regulations.

    • Consider the strength of construction materials and select
    appropriately and provide technical advice on safe designs and
    construction.

    • Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval and analyze
    configurations of the basic components of a structure.

    • Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers and
    monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure
    structural soundness.

    • Administer contracts and manage projects, inspect properties to
    evaluate the conditions and foundations. Use computer-aided design
    technology for simulation purposes. Expert experience in project
    management.

    • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal
    regulations.

    • Sound understanding of physics and mathematics and ability to liaise
    with professionals from other disciplines.

    • Three-dimensional conceptual skills, analytical thinker with strong
    problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail with
    organizational skills.


    • As site SPOC he need to schedule project call with client
    • Co-ordinate with offshore on design deliverable
    • Co-ordinate with Client, Vendor, and construction for inputs to be
    shared with offshore

    • Prepare markups
    • Review design document sent from offshore
    • Deliver design package to customer
    • Support construction team in Technical queries and clarification
    • Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field.
    • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
    • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD .
    • Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills.
    • Good communication ability (both written and verbal).
