Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) is a recognized umbrella organization for social welfare services. As a subsidiary of the
AWO District Association Württemberg e.

V., AWO Business Services GmbH employs 350 staff members to provide comprehensive services in the areas of personnel, finance, insurance, central purchasing, IT support, property management, and housekeeping for the district association and its affiliated facilities (currently nine senior centers, five nursing homes, and a training academy for elderly care).


We, AWO Business Services GmbH, are currently seeking a
Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d) or
Housekeeping Assistant (m/f/d) for our
Fasanenhof Senior Center in
Stuttgart-Fasanenhof to start immediately or at the earliest possible date.

This is a part-time position (50%) with a one-year contract and the possibility of permanent employment. Working hours are between 6:00 am and 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.


Job Description:


  • Preparation and serving of simple meals
  • Assistance with meal distribution
  • Cleaning and dishwashing in the kitchen area
  • Adherence to hygiene regulations
  • Weekday shifts with alternating weekend shifts (every other week off)

Requirements:


  • Enjoyment of working with people
  • Enjoyment of practical and housekeeping tasks
  • Previous experience in a large kitchen is desirable but not required
  • Good knowledge of German
