The Program Manager (PM) will work closely with the local team of Community Coordinators to ensure that goals and objectives, which are set for the team, are met.
The PM supervises staff by articulating expectations, displaying model behavior, maintaining open lines of communication and being clear about roles and responsibilities.
PMs are expected to be on call 24/7. The on-call responsibilities may be shared with the Assistant Program Manager.Since the PMs schedule must remain flexible, the PM is expected to flex his/her schedule to meet the program outcomes.
Essential Duties & Skills Required:
- Manage a team of Community Coordinators
- Coach, develop, and train staff
- Assist in the design of performance objectives and monitor programming to meet desired outcomes
- The PM identifies open positions and follows hiring and training procedures in a timely manner by working with Human Resources.
- Establish priorities to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to work within a highperformance work environment
- Motivate a team to achieve and surpass goals
- Hold self and team accountable to company and client requirements
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Display sound judgment and the ability to quickly analyze situations
- Problem solve in a proactive, creative manner
- Knowledge of community resources
- A valid driver's license
- Access to an insured vehicle
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelors degree, a Masters Degree is preferred
- 4 years of direct supervisory or management experience
- Experience managing people is required
