Data Analyst

Key Role:

Identify and collect data sources, analyze and extract key data and information, and evaluate and monitor data quality to meet an organization's information needs and requirements. Apply consulting and technical expertise to customer challenges and develop virtual dashboards built upon specialized software fed by multiple databases. Identify, design, and execute visualization approaches and visually articulate cohesive analysis results. Conduct verification and validation of data, visualization models, and resulting visualizations. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a professional work environment
3+ years of experience with data analytics and data visualization tools, including Tableau, QlikSense, or Micro soft Power BI
Experience with management consulting te chniques, including client interviews, data gathering, and problem-solving
Experience with scripting languages, including SQL or Python
Experience with using Micro soft Office Suite
Experience with briefing te chniques, methods, and findings to senior personnel
Knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes using tools, including PostgreSQL, Databricks, or NiFi
Knowledge of operations research te chniques, including probability and statistical methods
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with capturing user requirements
3+ years of experience with the design, development, and visualization of scientific methods and te chniques, including mathematical, statistical, or econometric
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Operations Research, Management Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
