We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst in the Portsmouth/Norfolk, VA area that can operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment of a micro-cap publicly-traded company.
The Data Analyst manages WidePoint data, develops reports, and troubleshoots data issues.
In addition, the Analyst provides an in-depth analysis of potential savings of optimizations or the effect of changes to client policy, zero use Policy/International Policy, and makes recommendations and projects the impact of possible changes.
EssentialResponsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supports the assigned client(s) in the management of the Cellular Wireless Managed Services (CWMS) program.
- Providing support to the assigned client(s) end users in the procurement, management, and disposal of mobile cellular devices.
- Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports.
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Provides an indepth analysis of potential savings of optimizations or the effect of changes to client policy, zero use Policy/International Policy, and makes recommendations and projects the impact of possible changes.
- Uses data to help identify problems or inefficiencies in end user support processes, and make recommendations to improve policies, processes, and procedures.
- Update the SAMs Database with Final Eventing Returned Assets.
- Update all new inventory stock to ServiceNow (SNOW).
- Update the ECC Code for Service Now on all assets uploaded to Warehouse Inventory.
- Responsible for onsite stock:
- Tracking inventory levels to submit proper orders to Carrier and maintain the assigned client(s) approved stock levels.
- Accessory stock (OtterBox cases) orders to maintain proper case inventory.
- Works with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
- Use data to support the assigned client(s) in:
- The management and reporting of client property.
- Developing, tracking, and maintaining a training program.
- Drafting monthly newsletter highlighting program events or changes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field required.
- Three (3) years of related experience is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint and MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI).
