    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a Splunk power user with a strong background in creating and maintaining dashboards. This role requires expertise in monitoring and observability tools, database management, and ideally, some experience with Java. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our services.

    <>Key Responsibilities:>
    • Monitoring & Observability:
      • Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using Splunk, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
      • Create, manage, and optimize complex dashboards in Splunk and Grafana to provide actionable insights.
      • Develop alerting and incident management strategies to ensure rapid response to issues.
    • Database Management:
      • Manage and optimize SQL and MongoDB databases.
      • Develop and maintain scripts for database health checks, backups, and monitoring.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure data integrity and performance.
    • Performance & Reliability:
      • Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are designed with scale and reliability in mind.
      • Perform root cause analysis for service interruptions and implement preventive measures.
      • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve the reliability of deployments and infrastructure management.
    • Collaboration & Communication:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture and application performance.
      • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive reliability improvements and inform about system statuses.
      • Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to improve team knowledge and response times.
    • Required:
      • Splunk Power User: Proven experience in creating complex Splunk dashboards from scratch, not just using or updating them.
      • Grafana: Proficiency in using Grafana for data visualization and monitoring.
      • AppDynamics: Experience with AppDynamics for application performance monitoring.
      • SQL & MongoDB: Strong skills in managing and optimizing SQL and MongoDB databases.
    • Good to Have:
      • Java: Experience with Java programming to assist in troubleshooting and development tasks.
