- Conducting reliability analyses on new and existing equipment, systems, and processes to identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability engineering principles into facility and equipment design, maintenance, and manufacturing processes.
- Performing reliability testing and data analysis to assess performance under various operating conditions and environmental factors.
- Developing and implementing reliability improvement plans, including preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, that support and enhance a RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) program.
- Monitoring and analyzing plant and facility performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for equipment and facility enhancements.
- Supporting and leading failure investigations and root cause analysis efforts to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence of reliability issues.
- Providing technical expertise and support to reliability, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve reliability-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Developing, analyzing, and maintaining reliability models, metrics, and tools to evaluate and track plant and equipment reliability.
- Participating in design reviews, FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and risk assessments to proactively address potential reliability concerns.
- Collaborating with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), suppliers, and vendors to ensure the reliability of equipment, components, and materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of reliability principles, methodologies, systems, and tools, such as predictive technologies, continuous improvements methodologies, data and trend development and analysis.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, KPI development, change management, scheduling and planning, and technical training programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, drive initiatives, and implement reliability best practices.
- Ability to travel domestically 50% of time, required.
