    Description

    Job Description: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

    Location: San Leandro CA or Charlotte NC

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide support for production and focus on enhancing platform health.
    • Operate in microservice architecture environments.
    • Analyze and resolve production issues using Java, including stack traces and exceptions.
    • Apply Agile methodologies for quick application development.
    • Create monitoring dashboards and configure alerts using Splunk.
    • Script Oracle SQL and MongoDB queries.
    • Familiarity with Application Performance Management tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
    • Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis, memcache) and messaging utilities (MQ, Kafka).
    • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools like Git, Jenkins, Unified Change Management Release.
    • Work closely with Engineering teams on security, networking, and infrastructure obstacles.
    • Utilize Shell Scripting and DevOps utilities like Ansible.
    • Proficiency in distributed storage technologies such as NFS, PCF, Kubernetes, OpenShift.

    Requirements:

    • 5-10 years of background in Production support/SRE teams.
    • Hands-on Java programming background.
    • Familiarity with Agile or rapid development methodologies.
    • Competence in Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana.
    • Understanding of Oracle SQL, MongoDB queries.
    • Proficiency in APM and monitoring utilities.
    • Comfort with CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies.
    • Capability to effectively troubleshoot production issues.
    • Strong communication and collaboration aptitudes.
    • Tech Stack: Java/J2EE (Spring, Spring Boot), Python, Shell Scripting.
    • Exposure to SOAP, REST, Microservices APIs.
