- As the Senior Data Developer, you will:
- Implement and maintain consistently available database systems
- Develop and maintain data models using DBT, data flow diagrams, and system architecture
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Data Architect to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure data and system solutions
- Work with Integration and Analytic resources to define data models to support integrations and analytics
- Leverage tools for DataOps (CI/CD)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 8+ years of work experience; 10+ years of experience in related work if no degree
- A Master's Degree may substitute two (2) years' of work experience
- Proficient in SQL, DBT, and ELT/ETL processes
- Creating and maintaining Stored Procedures
- Highly experienced in Snowflake
- Ability to perform data analysis, identify source data issues, and provide written recommendations for data quality
- Capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, data governance best practices, and security controls
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team to translate tasks into deliverables
- Effective at designing and implementing solutions that meet scalability and performance requirements
- Experience with BI reporting tools such as Tabluea or PowerBI (Sigma Computing preferred)
- Experience working with Python to perform data analysis, data transformations, and data cleansing
- DataOps experience (Team utilizes DataOps.Live platform)
- SQL: 8 Years (Required)
- Snowflake: 4 Years (Required)
- Python: 5 years (Preferred)
- BI Tools (Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI, etc): 4 Years (Preferred)
