Industrial HVAC Technician at ACME Industrial Services

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC equipment for a diverse range of customers both locally and internationally.
Work on various types of HVAC equipment/systems including DX package units, split systems, chillers, pressurization units, and more.
Handle equipment sizes ranging from 2 to over 200 tons.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues affecting unit operation while ensuring work meets manufacturer's standards.
Address issues with duct-mounted devices such as heaters, fire dampers, and sensors.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings, proposed solutions, repair timelines, and project progress.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and keep company vehicle well-equipped and organized.
Maintain a safe work environment following OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and with high quality to minimize rework.
Adhere to procedures and regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Be flexible to work nights or weekends based on client needs.
Operate forklifts for transporting supplies and equipment as needed.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Minimum five years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial HVAC systems.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of reading blueprints and manuals.
Experience working with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC systems.
Prior experience in offshore service or projects.
Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.

Certifications Required:

Universal EPA Certification.
Basic Plus certification from HASC or ISTC.
TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training).
Other relevant offshore certifications.
