Description

A small, close-knit public accounting firm dedicated to providing personalized and high-quality Audit & Tax services to its clients is looking to add a Senior Accountant. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative work environment where this is a commitment to professional growth. The diverse client base will lead to working with local non-profits, schools, municipalities, and construction.

Highlights:

Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage full-cycle accounting processes for a diverse portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and financial analysis.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
Conduct regular account reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide financial advice and support to clients, helping them to achieve their financial goals.
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize client outcomes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and share best practices.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in public accounting (Audit or Tax)
CPA highly preferred
Bachelors degree in accounting
