    Security must be at the forefront of every conversation and decision in IT at Medxcel.

    In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all conversations with the business areas, technology decisions in Information Systems and ultimately deployment of technology and solutions has a secure posture from the start.


    As a Cybersecurity & Identity Architect at Medxcel, you'll lead the architecture and design efforts of innovative Cybersecurity solutions and service offerings to protect our network, identities and customer data.

    You'll coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate our business IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions.

    You'll stay in tune with the industry and advancements in security and identity solutions and technologies and educate others.

    Central Office - Indianapolis, IN

    Responsibilities


    Responsibilities:


    Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancementsEnsuring all personnel have access to the IT system limited by need and roleEstablishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting breach of security drillsPromptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analysisDevelop and promote security and resiliency architecture strategies, frameworks and patterns while collaborating with business units; understand business requirements and develop supporting security and resiliency principles to ensure adoption of industry and enterprise standard methodologiesDemonstrates expert technology competence in two or more domains such as security, resiliency, infrastructure, platform, product, endpoint, application, identity management, and data security, and zero trustAnalyze technical risks of existing network/system and application architectures (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and on premise) against correlating policies and risks, and provides appropriate remediation or risk reduction plansAssists in defining and implementing Security Standards/frameworksTrain and coach development and engineering teams to integrate CI/CD pipeline tools, test plans and vulnerabilities assessment tools for CloudServe as a champion for secure infrastructure-as-code for end-to-end configuration and overall success of the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environmentsThreat modeling, end-to-end security evaluation, design and development of cloud security policies, standards and procedures for various types of public/private/hybrid cloudsUpdates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.

    Qualifications


    Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity and/or Business Administration required

    License/Certification:
    Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) certification,

    Microsoft Certified:
    Cybersecurity Architect Expert required

    ITIL Foundations preferredExperience:
    Minimum Required:


    5 plus years of experience in Cybersecurity and Identity architecture and engineering, experience in a similar role with demonstrated relationship building skills resulting in traceable, measurable, impactful results; experience working in team environments and implementing organizational change; strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies (Azure, M365, D365).

    Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, identity management, performance and reliabilitySolid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and securityGood working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutionsExperience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologiesAbility to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measuresDeep experience working with business areas, defining requirements and outcomes and architecting solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook

    Superior Interpersonal Skills:
    Ability to interface with a wide range of personalities and levels within Medxcel and Ascension organizations; Professional communication styleInitiative: Self-starter with strong sense of ownership; Tenacity in problem solving with positive outcomes; Motivated to increase capacity and responsibility

    Detailed Oriented:
