We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician (FST), Electrical, for the Corrugated Board, Flexo printing and flat bed die-cutting product line. The Field Service Technician (FST) provides timely and efficient machine repairs and installations primarily for customers in the Corrugated Board product line. This individual will serve as the front-line representative for the BOBST product range.
- Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred) Key Skills & Attributes:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the packaging industry or finishing converting industry working as an Electrician on flat bed die cutters
- Background in electrical engineering
- Diagnosing faults and make recommendations in customer environment.
- Technical knowledge (variable frequency drives, motors, basic AC/DC)
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) To be considered for this role, candidates should have –

The Field Service Technician (FST) is at the core of an extensive support network of service personnel worldwide. This trusted advisor is the key customer representative, responsible for confirming, clarifying, and meeting the customers' expectations at every stage of contact and on every service, project relating to our machines. The Field Service Technician (FST) possesses a strong background in the principles of electrical engineering. Machine Service (electrical & mechanical), including the repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair, troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programs.
