    About this role:
    Monitor/Audit Payroll procedures and system for Americas, UK, and other assigned countries. Help review regular payroll input for ongoing accuracy and compliance. Use data and analysis to monitor and improve payroll procedures and systems. Manage projects that improve processes and/or systems.


    What you'll do:

    • Perform/provide reporting and detailed analyses for detection of compliance/audit issues and other financial analysis to ensure payroll services are operating in an optimal manner
    • Understanding of multiple complex systems including payroll processing systems, payroll tax systems, and Oracle modules (HR, Time cards, accounting and ledgers)
    • Project manage complex initiatives and system enhancements/replacements including testing
    • Understanding of multiple internal areas including HR, Legal, Treasury and Tax processes, and company initiatives in order to investigate and resolve issues raised or identified
    • Resolve and respond to problems or inquiries made from associates regarding payroll services
    • Work in close alignment with internal audit to investigate fraud and policy non compliance
    • Serve as backup for a variety of duties/functions in Payroll Services

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor's Degree, Accounting or Finance or CPP designation past or current
    • 5+ years payroll/business experience
    • Ability to understand and articulate payroll policies and procedures
    • Strong Microsoft Excel and payroll system skills
    • Work collaboratively with all Payroll team members to create accurate and efficient processes
    • Excellent ability to understand payroll processes, system capabilities, and tax management
    • Exceptional analytic skills
    • Strong ability to work with large quantities of detailed data from multiple sources
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & effective listening skills
    • Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in proactive manner
    • Flexibility
    • Excellent organization & time management skills
    • Strong ability to manage constantly shifting priorities and requirements

    Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,400 USD - 86,940 USD.

    Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

    In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.

    Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
