MASAC (Massachusetts Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center) is a Section 35 treatment center located in the beautiful Myles Standish State Forest in Plymouth, MA.
This role is working with individuals with substance use disorders.How you make a difference:
The Nurse Educator is responsible for coordinating the orientation process for all nursing staff and assessing their competencies. They design specific in-service training programs to address areas that require staff development based on departmental needs. The goal is to maximize the efficient and cost-effective use of health resources while centering services on the patient.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree in nursing education or other related healthcare or education field highly preferred. Experience Must have at least two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
Licenses/Certifications Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
Must be certified as a Basic Life Support Instructor and maintain certification in basic life support (BLS) as a health care provider.
