The
Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH, located in the geographically interesting city triangle of Hamburg-Bremen-Hannover, operates the hospitals in Verden with 131 beds and in Achim with 140 beds, together providing care for 15,000 inpatients and 29,000 outpatients annually.


The AWK Verden includes the departments of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Intensive Care Medicine, as well as the departments of General and Visceral Surgery, Trauma Surgery and Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Anesthesiology.

In spring 2023, a modern new bed building will be put into operation.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with admission and emergency initial care of patients
  • Assisting with preparation, assistance, and followup of special diagnostic and therapeutic measures in emergency care
  • Assisting with identifying complications and initiating appropriate measures
  • Assisting with ensuring proper implementation of prescribed medical treatment and recommending healing and aid supplies for patient care and followup
  • Independently documenting and performing administrative tasks
  • Organizing and coordinating the flow of the central emergency department
  • Organizing and planning interdisciplinary and crossdepartmental care processes, taking alternative actions into account
  • Providing emergency equipment
  • Assisting with implementing quality assurance measures in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Requesting and economically using supplies
