Description
Job Description For Excess & Surplus Lines Property division, reviews complex risk submissions for both new business and renewals, gathering and analyzing all pertinent data to determine acceptability of risk.
QualificationsProficient level of Excess & Surplus Lines Property risk underwriting skill and competence, with the ability to handle large complex risksMinimum of 7 years property U/W experience or its equivalent.
Demonstrate initiative as evidenced by ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize work. Wholesale underwriting experience is preferred, but retail experience is accepted. Excellent ability to develop, implement and manage a marketing plan.Outstanding Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with others-both external and internal customers.
Strong Communication Skills, including the ability to listen effectively; to confidently and diplomatically express opinions and voice concerns with other team members; and to present effective written communication to varied audiences.
People management experienced preferred.Resourceful training capabilities. Computer skills in various programsThe pay range for the role is $117,000 to $189,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
