    Description

Within the organization, the Core Development team architects and maintains the trading platform, while the Trade Desk manages real-time trading operations, deploying changes, and optimizing system performance through collaboration with various stakeholders. This requires deep technical knowledge and operational expertise to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the trading environment.

    Job Functions

    • Build/maintain DevOps toolkit for trading system that includes configuration management, deployment, data collection, etc.
    • Leverage firm-wide metrics to improve system performance
    • Monitor and troubleshoot large-scale trading systems and exchange connectivity
    • Work with Operational Trading Support and Risk Management to coordinate changes.

    Job Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 3 years minimum experience in Python and Shell scripting
    • 5 years minimum experience in an IT operations role, like DevOps, SRE, Network Engineering, or Linux Systems Engineering
    • Strong understanding of networking concepts
    • Familiarity with C++

    This role is a Hybrid role based in either Austin, Texas or Chicago. This is a full time role- no C2C or C2H.
