    Overview:

    Salem Surround is a full-service digital marketing agency within the Salem Media Group. We offer an exceptional opportunity for a Regional Account Executive / Media Strategist that likes to help small and medium size businesses achieve their marketing goals by providing customized solutions using digital and traditional media products. In a highly competitive space, Salem Surround has become an integral part of hundreds of SMBs nationwide. Our ideal candidate will be goal oriented, a relentless hunter, driving to win new businesses, and has a track record of exceeding monthly goals. If you are passionate about selling, have a deep knowledge of digital advertising principles and products, and possess excellent presentation and closing skills - then wed love to talk to you

    Responsibilities:

    Qualities we are looking for include:

    • Really good at prospecting and developing opportunities with SMBs?
    • Part of that rare group of individuals that LOVE to help customers achieve their goals?
    • Good at developing effective CNAs in order to understand the unique needs of a potential client?
    • Good at knowing how to use the digital tools available and do you know how to analyze a prospects digital footprint?
    • Experienced is developing digital revenue and are consistently able to renew your business?
    • Able to effectively communicate the features and benefits of ALL digital products in order to help achieve a client goal?
    • One who enjoys the startup environment inside an established media company where your voice is heard?
    • Looking for a potential upgrade in your current role or looking to change companies?
    • Interested in making a lot of money?
    Qualifications:
    • College degree with 2-4 years of sales experience preferred
    • Strong understanding of local marketing with SMBs and digital media.
    • A demonstrated record of success in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment.
    • Knowledgeable of Digital products and applications such as Search Engine Marketing, Audience and Search Retargeting, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management and Marketing, Digital Display, Website Development, OTT/CTV, and Email Marketing.
    • Strong skills in planning, communicating, organizing, and in developing customer relationships.
    • Ability to develop a strategic sales plan.
    • Proficient in prospecting high potential accounts and setting up appointments with key decision makers with the ability to secure at least five appointments weekly with qualified prospects.
    • Demonstrates effective listening skills and able to deliver compelling advertising presentations.
    • Ability to develop a Digital Marketing plan that addresses client objectives and reaches the target audience.
    • Effectively able to overcome client objections and articulate the value of recommended solutions.
    • Ability to close Digital Marketing contracts for at least $30K or greater annually
    • Strong problem solving, and analytical ability are essential.
