- Foster and leverage formidable insight into internal and external infrastructure to facilitate escalation, resolution, and documentation of incidents/issues
- Assist in execution of change controls, regular patching, and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Coordinate field tech resources to troubleshoot and/or install new network infrastructure
- Take ownership to solve problems directly or coordinate problem resolution between internal/external parties
- Monitor incident tickets/service requests and respond in a timely manner
- Participate in long-term projects to improve internal tools, infrastructure, and procedures.
- Order network circuits and be involved in the build process
- Be involved in network and site development/move projects, large and small
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of applicable Network/Service Operations experience
- 1 to 2 years of applicable Network/Service Operations
- Direct experience with network monitoring and ticketing software
- Proficiency with productivity software and various web browsers
- Flexible schedule, this position will involve weekend and evening support during on call rotation
- Experience with monitoring software/tools (Solarwinds NPM, infoblox)
- Experience with DHCP, DNS, Subnetting, carrier ticketing portals
- Ability to work carrier/network issues to resolution.
- Experience with Cisco command line, iWAN/SDWAN/ACI, DMVPN, WiFi, Avaya/Cisco switching
