Financial Officer (m/f/d) The purpose of the foundation is "to contribute through its work to preserving and disseminating knowledge about the unique crimes committed during the Nazi dictatorship in the consciousness of people.

It is also the task of the foundation to present the serious human rights violations during the times of Soviet occupation and SED dictatorship and to spread knowledge about them." To support and coordinate the activities of its seven memorial sites at nine locations, the Stiftung Gedenkstätten Sachsen-Anhalt maintains a headquarters in the state capital of Magdeburg.

The headquarters, with its various departments, is under the supervision of the administrative director of the foundation. As part of a restructuring of the headquarters, the position of Financial Officer (m/f/d) is being created. It will include the management of the two departments of budget/accounting and procurement.

In addition to providing professional guidance to the employees working in these two areas, the position also includes acting as a substitute for the administrative director when necessary.

The Stiftung Gedenkstätten Sachsen-Anhalt is seeking to fill a full-time position as Financial Officer (m/f/d) at its headquarters as soon as possible.

The position is permanent and classified as pay grade 11 according to the TV-L collective agreement.

The responsibilities of the budget/accounting department include, in particular, the following tasks:
