    Job Title: Live in Seasonal Housekeeper

    Salary: $50.00 Per Hour plus overtime

    Schedule: Jun. 9 - Sept weeks. Thurs-Monday 8 am-3 pm with Flexibility.

    Location: Seasonal Nantucket, MA.

    Job Overview:

    A young, active family is seeking an exceptional housekeeper/household manager for the summer of 2024. We prioritize creating a warm, welcoming environment where our family can thrive, and we value individuals who share our commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities: (Not limited to)

    Tasksinclude floors, surfaces, dusting, organizing, etc. (Note: Nouniquechina/silver or fine linens)

    Manage laundry duties, including clothes, towels, and bedding.

    Change sheets once a week for family bedrooms and after guests depart from guest bedrooms.

    Conduct grocery shopping 1-2 timesweeklyto replenish essentials (list provided) and run other errands as requested.

    Prepare fruit and vegetable platters daily by chopping produce.

    Daily removal and replacement of outdoor furniture covers at8 amandevening.

    Availablefor evening shifts (approximately610 pm) as needed, typically once a week when the family hosts dinner.

    The Main Home:

    Four occupied family bedrooms and two guest bedrooms.

    Eight full baths and three powder rooms

    Living spaces include A kitchen/pantry and other typical living areas.

    A total gym, steam, and sauna laundry room.

    Guest House:

    Three bedrooms and three full baths one powder room

    Schedule:

    • Flexible Work 5 or 6 days weekly, with one day off on Tuesday and/or Wednesday.
    • The hours are from 8 am to 3 pm daily, with an additional 1-hour evening shift (time to be confirmed) to replace outdoor furniture covers.
    • Position duration: Jun. 9 to Sept weeks).

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Diligent, discreet, and maintains a quiet presence within the household.
    • Possesses a friendly, warm demeanor and connects well with young children.
    • Prioritizes time effectively to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
    • Flexible and adaptable, able to shift focus to different areas depending on family activities.
    • Experienced with driving, comfortable with grocery shopping, and running errands as required.
    • Willing to provide housekeeping services for off-season family visits (typically during Daffodil weekend, Memorial Day, an early October weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas stroll).

    Additional Requirements:

    • 3-5 years experience
    • Valid Drivers licence
    • Previous Live In Experience
    • Non Smoker
