Our **Buyers** are responsible for identifying and procuring the goods and services that our customers require. They are the backbone to any procurement function and partner with stakeholders to identify needs and

**The successful candidate will have the capability to:**

Support the intake, triage, and execution of incoming procurement requests

Facilitate value-based supplier evaluation and selection in coordination with internal stakeholders and documented business requirements

Negotiate the commercial terms, conditions and pricing with suppliers in the purchase of goods, materials, and services

Extract, consolidate and archive basic contract information

Proactively manage catalog and other procurement content across multiple spend categories to meet evolving business stakeholder purchasing needs

Create and review purchase requisitions based on defined business rules, work instructions and contracts

Perform base-level spend and market analysis to develop purchase recommendations

Collect necessary information to support the supplier qualification and onboarding process

Monitor and ensure POs are closed based on defined procedures and business rules

Coordinate with Accounts Payable, suppliers and business stakeholders to address invoice holds and resolve issues

Participate in internal project work groups in areas you are passionate about which include, but are not limited to: community giving, event planning, volunteering, marketing and sales, employee engagement, and policies and procedures
