JOB TITLE: Client Strategist
REPORTS TO: HRAS Director of Sales
EXEMPT/NON: Exempt
DIVISION: HRAS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION – Summary
The HRAS Client Strategist has direct involvement in new business and renewal functions. This position maintains a high level of coordination between sales and operational/client service activities. This role is ultimately accountable for new business growth and retention of accounts to allow production to focus on development work in the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
· Provides coordination and timely hand-offs between operations and production with special emphasis on new business execution.
· Once an opportunity has been identified by production for accounts over $10,000 in revenue, has direct involvement in new business meetings to further align sales and service deliverables.
· Responsible for gathering all paperwork, policy review, safety/claims coordination and diligence reporting for the prospect.
· Account involvement includes high-level coordinating with the team, appropriate strategy sessions, stewardship reports
(If needed) and potential participation in final presentations.
· Oversees the preparation and delivery of client presentations and has responsibility for the follow up work to win a deal.
· After account is written, will serve as lead contact and liaison between the service team and production staff.
· Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
· A Bachelor's Degree is required
· Property & Casualty license must be obtained within 75 days of New Hire Onboarding
· Ability to provide strong communication and coordination cross-team members.
· Commitment to advancing your insurance knowledge via training and obtaining approved industry designation
· High level of direct, related experience
· Strong speaking and presentation skills
· Must be willing to travel as required
· Must have strong commercial lines technical knowledge, including an understanding of all forms of coverage and risk alternatives
· Extremely organized
· Sense of urgency and works well under pressure
· Analytical-technically oriented
· Strong attention to detail and follow through
· General working knowledge of EPIC
· The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program

· Travel by air or ground transportation as required in performing job duties.
· Be able to lift and carry objects that weigh a minimum of 20 pounds
