Overview
Position Summary:
The Clinical Lab Scientist performs a range of standard and/or technically demanding procedures in one or more of the Clinical Laboratory disciplines exercising initiative and independent judgment.
The CLS in this role will primarily conduct testing in Hematology and Coagulation. Additionally, they will have the responsibility of instructing non-laboratory personnel in the utilization of Point of Care Testing devices.Other responsibilites will include:
Communicating technical or general information to their manager, director, & medical staff; participate in administrative activities. May provide functional supervision to support staff. They should be proficient in training and assessing competencies for nursing, respiratory therapists, and other non-laboratory staff.
Minimum Qualifications: 1+ year of relevant clinical experience.

Pay Scale Information
$84,656.00-$146,151.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
