Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial management software, and a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Duties:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Conduct monthend and yearend close processes
Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis of general ledger accounts
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Provide guidance and support to accounting staff
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support financial decisionmaking

Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP
Proficiency in financial management software (SAP)
Experience with corporate accounting and governmental accounting preferred
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
