- Determine care priorities based on patients' physical and psychosocial needs
- Communicate effectively with Emergency Department physicians
- Respond promptly to changes in patients' conditions
- Maintain awareness of ER operational policies
- Demonstrate comprehensive nursing knowledge and skills
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with specialists as needed
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and reassessments
- Utilize triage process to provide timely care
- Assess and manage pain effectively
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and interpret results
- Perform cardiac monitoring and identify dysrhythmias
- Conduct waived testing and interpret results
- Administer medications correctly based on patients' age and condition
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families
- Ensure adequate supplies and equipment
- Assist in cost containment through appropriate supply management
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- 3-5 years of Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- Experience with EHR Documentation using EPOWERdoc
- Active RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
- 12-hour shifts
- Availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays
- PRN scheduling as needed
