    Senior Structural Engineer

    Our client, a respected figure in the construction and engineering sector, is known for their innovative approaches to intricate projects.     We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Structural Engineer to lead our client's engineering initiatives towards new heights of innovation and excellence.     Focus:

    • Lead structural engineering tasks such as structural analysis, design, and detailing for various projects, ranging from small restorations to major new constructions.
    • Coordinate and manage the preparation and delivery of submissions and presentations to relevant local authorities, utilities, and planning boards.
    • Conduct thorough site investigations to document conditions and assess structural requirements.
    • Review and complete design calculations and assist in drawing and specification preparation.
    • Manage project planning and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
    • Address technical issues during construction, offering effective solutions to ensure project success.
    • Drive business growth by maintaining client relationships, seeking new opportunities, creating proposals, and representing the firm externally.

    Skill Set:

    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, with significant project leadership and design experience.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
    • Proficiency in various structural analysis software.
    • Deep understanding and application of local code requirements.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software is a must.
