    Our esteemed company is on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Permanent Field Service Technician in the Blow Molding division.

    This exciting role offers an opportunity to work in the fast-paced manufacturing sector, with a focus on blow molding, plastics, and bottling filling equipment.

    The position requires a significant amount of travel (90%), making it ideal for those who enjoy being on the move and experiencing different work environments.

    To sweeten the deal, we are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus.


    Responsibilities:
    As a Permanent Field Service Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to:


    • Performing maintenance and repairs on blow molding, plastics, bottling, and filling equipment.
    • Conducting electrical troubleshooting and controls troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
    • Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings to understand the equipment layout and operation.
    • Working with depalletizers and palletizers, ensuring their smooth operation in the production line.
    • Performing minor PLC programming tasks to improve equipment functionality and efficiency.
    • Traveling extensively (90% of the time) to various sites to provide technical support and solve equipment problems.
    • Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure the success of projects and tasks.
    • Providing technical training and support to other staff members as needed.

    Qualifications:
    The ideal candidate for the Permanent Field Service Technician position should possess the following qualifications:


    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
    • Solid experience in blow molding, plastics, bottling, and filling equipment.
    • Proficiency in electrical and controls troubleshooting.
    • Experience working with depalletizers and palletizers.
    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
    • Basic PLC programming skills.
    • Willingness to travel extensively (90% of the time) to various sites.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
    • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
