    Department: Nursing
    Supervisor: Administrator
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
    Responsible for Managing all Nursing Schedules at Bethany Lutheran Home
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experienced in making staff schedules and managing day to day staffing needs in a large facility.
    • Must be willing to work as part of a team.
    • Must be proficent in Microsoft applications and general computer use.
    • Self-motivated and goal oriented.

    Physical Demands: Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry and manipulate various items and also to walk efficiently around the building. Lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs. Using proper body mechanics or available equipment to help. Physical activity required throughout the shift.


    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY:

    • Managing All Nursing Schedules this includes RN's, LPN's, CMA's, & CNA's
    • Working with Staffing Agenices
    • Taking On- Call Staffing needs & questions
    • Working closely with DON/ ADON to build a balanced schedule
    • Keeping agency documentation
    • Managing day to day staffing needs and updating schedules as needed
    • Strong organization skills
    • Follow company policy and procedures
    • Other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

    WORKING BEHAVIORS:

    • Adhere to and carry out all policies and procedures.
    • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, residents, family referral sources and visitors.
    • Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, co-workers and families in the community (see the Chief Operating Officer for the HIPAA Privacy Act).
    • Promote and represent Bethany Lutheran Home in a positive way.
    • Promote team work in providing direction and service to our residents.
    • Professional appearance and good personal hygiene is required at Bethany Lutheran Home

    • Maintaining confidentiality within the work place regarding verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
    • Confidentiality is of the utmost importance and will be considered at all times
