Description
Our regional business development team identifies key markets and customers to expand Enable's commercial presence introducing and onboarding new customers to the Enable Platform.
As the regional leader in the West, you will partner with the VP of Commercial to define and operationalize the market development strategy for Enable Medicine to both deepen Enable's existing collaborations with biopharma and biotech, and expand into new ones.
You will work with the scientific teams to help determine what targets and disease areas are of highest value for us to pursue, collaborate with the delivery teams to support customer satisfaction and success, ideate with the product teams to loop them in to client feedback, and work with marketing and the field scientists to build and refine the sales enablement.

Your former colleagues and managers would describe you as a creative, self-starter, highly organized, and able to flourish in a dynamic small company environment.
You have experience selling into pharma, biotech and CRO/service providers and have demonstrated expertise building relationships with key decision-makers.You have experience being an initial hire or part of the first sales/BD hires at a company and ENJOY the building stage and phase, working in an entrepreneurial and collaborative team-oriented environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Dev + Sales (Rev Gen)
Build and execute territory strategy that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
Demonstrate leadership and decision making in adjusting strategy to account for local factors or market shifts
Lead the customer account planning process, forecasting and CRM usage, and be responsible for effective commercial execution of the company pharma segment goals in the region
Develop and nurture relationships with strategically important NEW customers within the segment
Stay on top of research and clinical developments across oncology and immunology, ensuring Enable is collaborating with the leading researchers in each indication we work in and that we are collecting data on the most important cell types, molecular targets, and therapies
Sales/Revenue Operations
Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process and provide accurate sales forecasts
Ensuring that sales, marketing, and customer service goals are in sync
Build and develop pipeline and client health dashboards and revenue forecasts
Aligning technology to present a complete picture of your revenue, business, and activity data
Cross functional/business acumen
Effectively handover customer relationships and support to the CS Manager and Delivery team
Work collaboratively w Delivery team and FAS's to maintain and expand relationships with current strategically important clients (FAS and CS Manager own the client relationship)
Work closely with internal team members such as R&D, Applications, and Marketing to align on commercial activities and provide Voice of Customer data and information
Qualifications
Required
Experience in building and implementing business development strategies with significant experience building relationships with key decision makers
Exceptional funnel management skills with strong hunting/prospecting and closing skills
Prior experience with single-cell data generation and/or spatial, genomics, and analysis
Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role, expected to be at least 50% of the time within the territory
Strong technical knowledge in the spatial field to demonstrate technical credibility to effectively consult with customers to influence key decisions on technology and product choices.
Highly Preferred
M.S. or PhD in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, or similar preferred
Experience with oncology and/or immunology
Start-up experience
Existing relationships and strong customer network in the genomics research space with academic, biopharma, and government entities
