Job Description:

Summary:
This position serves as the primary technical analyst supporting the Payroll Office. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday's technical architecture, integration capabilities, and best practices.


Essential Functions:

  • Configuration and Testing: Configure and maintain Workday modules based on business requirements, including but not limited to Payroll and Time Tracking. Understand relationships and dependencies on Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, and Talent. Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other integration tools to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems. Develop and implement test plans for existing and proposed features and functionality. Perform regular system audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies and standards.

User Support:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, integration specifications, and configuration changes.

Provide end-user support and training on Workday functionality and features.- System Improvement and Innovation: Stay current with Workday releases, updates, and new features, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's processes.

Participate in the design and implementation of system improvements and new functionalities to support evolving business needs.- Internal and

External Collaboration:

Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements related to Workday functionality and integrations.

Collaborate with vendors and consultants to implement system fixes, upgrades, and enhancement.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. 24 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience >2 years as a Workday Technical Analyst or similar role, with handson configuration and integration experience.
  • Strong understanding of Workday technical architecture, objectoriented concepts, and integration technologies (Workday Studio, EIBs, Web Services, etc.).
  • Experience with Workday security, reporting, and custom report development.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and best practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Superior capability with Microsoft Office programs required.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, or related field. 35 years of relevant experience.
  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Payroll for the US, Integrations, Reporting) are a plus.
  • Experience with other HRIS systems (Ellucian Colleague, Banner) and programming languages (such as SQL, Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills including data validation, formulas, macros, and pivot tables preferred.
