- The Non-Conformance Engineer is responsible for performing root cause analysis, investigation and disposition of non-conformances in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in a quality control or nonconformance engineering role.
- 13 years' experience using hand measurement devices
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of quality control and statistical process control methods.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
- Conduct root cause analysis and investigations for nonconformances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Review and assess product quality and performance, including inspection data and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions for nonconformances.
- Communicate nonconformance issues and recommended corrective actions to relevant departments and management.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all nonconformance activities, investigations, and resolutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce the frequency and severity of nonconformances.
- Adhere to all relevant quality control standards and procedures.
