- Lead the design and development of control systems for industrial automation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure the control system meets those requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues with control systems and provide effective solutions
- Participate in the testing and commissioning of control systems at customer sites
- Provide technical support for ongoing projects and customer service
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Continuously improve control system design and programming practices
- Identify and evaluate new control technologies for potential implementation in future projects
- Represent the company in discussions with customers and industry experts.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in control system design and development
- Understanding of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), industrial networking protocols, and communication protocols.
- Understanding of controls instrumentation (valves, transmitters, switches, etc) and interface with the controls systems.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages commonly used in control systems, such as ladder logic and/or functional block diagram.
- Experience in electrical and control system design, including schematic capture and circuit design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple control systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead global cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
