POSITION OVERVIEW
The Support position is responsible for assisting machine operators in achieving consistent performance against targets, through ensuring the smooth flow of material and work.
Individuals in this role are responsible for maintaining quality and speed performance within the scope of their role, while minimizing scrap, in addition to working to ensure the accuracy of all manufacturing data and/or documentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping Coordinator 1
Follows the requirements of assigned schedule to meet shipping demand.
Sets up orders based upon established specifications.
Stages boxes to assemble orders for shipping.
Adjusts order forms to reflect status of shipping orders.
Moves material in and out of stocking locations with scanner.
Associate Can effectively use trailer management transaction ZTSCHD in SAP to create trailers and assign forwarding agent number, seal number (if applicable), pickup dates for each delivery within each trailer.
Associate can effectively print all BOL'S, packing slips, commercial invoices (if applicable) and enter tracking numbers and booking numbers (if applicable) for all deliveries within trailer management in SAP.
Associate can effectively process and ship through subcontracting (sterile shipments) in sap using transaction (ZME2O).Associates can effectively run and comprehend all basic warehouse transactions related to inventory lookups, trailer management, sales order lookup, deliveries, receiving, order processing.
Associate can effectively troubleshoot handling units(repack) if discrepancies or changes have been made.
Associate is trained in conducting consumables inventory counts and ordering materials as needed.
Associate can effectively create cycle counts using SAP transaction LX16 and is familiar with entering counts using SAP transaction LI11N/LI12N.
Completes any required paperwork.- Perform cycle counts as required.
Notifies Supervisor of any problems.
Completes projects and tasks as assigned.
Advises the Warehouse Manager on issues and improvements pertaining to areas of responsibility.
Ensures proper inspection for quality of goods packed.
Advises superior on issues regarding safety.
Ensures the compliance of procedures to all company policies.
Any other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor or other higher-level managers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma, GED and/or equivalent experience
Prior manufacturing experience, preferably within a regulated goods industry such as healthcare or food and beverage production.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and written.
Familiarity with basic computer skills
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at an 8th grade level.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to assess visual differences between product, in color, size, pattern, etc.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
