Job Description SummaryThe Electrical EngineerThis position will work closely with the manufacturing team on the production floor. Onsite work is required daily at the Vandalia, OH facility.
Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for electronics design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
Evaluates design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results.Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and proceduresProvide engineering / technical support in a production environmentInitiates Engineering Change (EC), Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA), Cost Analysis, etc.
Provides informal guidance to new team membersRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university or collegeDesired CharacteristicsExperience with Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC etc.
Familiar with the essential principles of electrical circuits and power electronicsFamiliar with the essential principles of magnetics and transformersFamiliar with circuit design tools such as LTSpice and Altium DesignerExperience designing, manufacturing, or troubleshooting electrical circuitsAbility to collaborate in multidisciplinary teamsLead initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityStrong project ownership, execution, and proactive mentalities.
