Job DescriptionThe Jewish Community of Metropolitan Detroit (The J) has an immediate opening for a Lifeguard. Under general supervision, a lifeguard is responsible for the safety of Jewish Community Center guests by preventing and responding to emergencies. It is imperative for lifeguards to control unruly behavior in the pool and on the pool deck. Lifeguards are superior swimmers who are able to give advice on water safety to members and can conduct swift water rescues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 6 months to 1 year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. CPR Certified; Current certification as Lifeguard by a recognized source of training.
