Founded in 37 fields, with 6,600 employees and 160 professions, located in the heart of Munich, we are currently seeking a full-time or part-time (12 months) Radiology IT Specialist (m/f/d) at the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.

Your responsibilities will include providing support for the increasing digitalization, particularly in the area of research infrastructure, serving as the main point of contact for all IT-related questions and interfaces with internal departments.

You will also be responsible for managing the department's research-related hardware infrastructure and providing administrative support.

Alongside the medical physics team, you will administer the research-related information systems RIS and PACS, as well as various research infrastructures.

Your profile should include a completed vocational training as a computer scientist or a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

You should have a good understanding of common PC and server hardware, as well as Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems.

Experience in Linux server environments and programming knowledge in Python is preferred. Ideally, you will also have some experience with DICOM data and the administration of PACS and RIS.

An interest in medical imaging and modern AI technologies such as Large Language Models, as well as a desire to use them innovatively in internal processes, is also desired.

You should also enjoy providing first and second-level support for users and managing the Active Directory. Proficiency in German and basic knowledge of English are necessary for this role.
