Can't decide between a quick start to your career or pursuing a degree? Are you also ambitious and motivated? Then a dual study program is perfect for you.

"Dual" means that you study at the University in Hof and complete your practical training at a location of the State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying.

This is what your studies look like


The three-year program consists of semesters at the University of Applied Sciences Hof and sections at the University of Public Service in Bavaria (also in Hof) and concludes with a qualification exam.

The basic studies will provide you with general knowledge of computer science as well as specific knowledge in the field, as well as necessary administrative basics.

You will learn about information structures, IT systems, programming languages, and data processing systems, and practice developing application software.

In the main studies, you will deepen your knowledge in core subjects of computer science and have the opportunity to carry out independent software development projects.

The program also includes sections on administrative basics, preparing you for administrative tasks in the public sector.

During the semester breaks, you will work at the IT Service Center in Munich or at one of our offices in Bavaria, where you will gain insight into various areas of information technology and participate in computer science projects, learning about organizational
