WINK News is seeking a talented and experienced TV News Reporter to cover news in Collier County. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and reporting news stories for daily newscasts, with a focus on providing accurate and timely information to our viewers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for journalism and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Naples/Marco Island and Collier County is the country's top locale to live and work.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and report on news stories in Collier County, with a focus on community-based stories
Conduct interviews with relevant sources
Write and produce news reports daily
Develop and maintain contacts within the community
Stay up-to-date on news and current events in Collier County
Collaborate with other reporters, editors, and producers to ensure accurate and engaging news coverage
Meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a TV news reporter
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and or weekends
Familiarity with video editing software and equipment
