    A family owned and operated company that has grown into the largest independently owned and operated engine re-manufacturer in North America.

    We have a Senior Accountant at our Company Headquarters, conveniently located off 694 and University Avenue in Fridley, MN

    Summary:
    This is a full-time,

    on-site position , reporting to our office in Fridley, MN. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team.

    In this role, you will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

    You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:


    Responsibilities:

    Journal Entries:
    Preparing and reviewing accurate and timely journal entries for various transactions.

    Account Reconciliations :
    Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    Fixed Asset Tracking :
    Maintaining fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and asset additions and disposals.

    Financial Reporting :
    Providing timely daily and monthly financial information to operations and management personnel.

    Year-End Audit :
    Assisting the external auditors with the year-end audit process.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting.
    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
    Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience, or 5 years of manufacturing industry accounting experience.
    Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software.
    Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office. Must be especially proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various departments.
