- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide direct nursing care to patients, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Provide clinical leadership and assume charge duties as designated.
- Promote positive work environment and patient care adherence to hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Administer medication, including IV medication, and document clinical findings.
- Assist with special tests and procedures and implement individualized care plans.
- Institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients.
- Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients as required.
- Participate in orientation and evaluation responsibilities for new personnel upon successful completion of preceptor training.
- Encourage patient participation in their own care.
- Graduated from nationally accredited nursing program.
- RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM.
- Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year, PALS within 6 months, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire.
- No minimum experience required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
