Emergency Room Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients and serve as a clinical leader for other staff
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment in accordance with hospital standards
• Administer medication and assist with special tests and procedures as needed
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans and discharge planning
• Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information and encourage patient participation in their own care

Qualifications:

• Program graduate with nationally accredited nursing degree
• Current RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement state
• CPR, Basic Arrhythmia Cert, PALS, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certifications required; additional certifications in specialty areas preferred
• Heavy work with physical demand requirements in excess of those for medium work
• Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE
