    Reports to the Superintendent of Transmission & Distribution. Plans, schedules, and supervises maintenance and operation of construction and distribution system.
    Schedules and supervises the operation and maintenance of the distribution system.
    Supervises and schedules daily field construction activity.
    Maintain controls over employee productivity and overtime hours.

    In conjunction with Superintendent of Transmission & Distribution, establishes procedures for handling contingencies, emergencies, and plans for adequate staff for emergencies and employee absences.

    Inspects job sites for safety and proper installation.
    Fills in for Superintendent of Transmission & Distribution when needed.
    Responsible for maintaining and enforcing all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
    Participate in, and prepare, employee performance evaluations and discussions.

    Work in conjunction with the Operations team to meet all water quality and service standards as set forth by regulatory agencies.

    Plan, develop, and comply with all PSC and State requirements in the distribution system.
    Responsible for all DOT licensing and testing in the company, work with local DOT representative to ensure compliance.
    5 – 7 years of experience working with water distribution system maintenance and repair.

    Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications.
    Knowledge of inventory system & control practices.


    Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
    Valid local state driver's license required.
    Ability to acquire New York State Department of Health Grade D water operator license.

    Physical:
    Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a field/office environment: to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time: to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties


    Mental:
    Must be able to read complex operations and financial reports.
