Purpose of Position:

Under supervison, performs routine security inspections of buildings and grounds to protect agaist trespassers and property damage and /or loss.

Performs related work as required.

Examples of Typical Tasks:

Makes periodic inspections tours throughout buildings and grounds to examine doors, windows, gates, locks and equipment.
Checks for trespassers, fires, leask from water or steam lines, or any other causes which might reutls in property damage and/or loss.
Discourages loitering, prevents trespassing and maintains order.
Answers telephones and doorbells.

Minimum Qualifications

A valid New York State Security Guard registration card issued by the Department of State; and
Satisfactory completion of a 16-hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) course within 90 days of employment

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
