    Description
    24 hour evening position 3pm-1130pm varied week days, including one weekend a month (Saturday & Sunday) and varied holidays. Responsible for registering patients and updating information in the patient's electronic medical record.

    Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that patient demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information, while providing patients and/or family members with required regulatory informational documents regarding their visit or admission.


    Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:


    Excellent organizational and prioritization skillsExcellent guest relations and telephone demeanor Ability to professional handle all interactions within a fast paced, hectic and emotionally charged clinical environment.

    Ability to think critically in making decisions to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.

    Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent computer skills Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
    Minimum two years of computer experienceMinimum one to two years of experience in an acute hospital settingKnowledge of medical terminology

    Educational Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent

    License/Certification:

    Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
