- YOU will be able to work with the clinical and group home staff to create a safe, caring environment that supports growth and independence.
- YOU will help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more. Your day-to-day work will support students in developing a sense of self and provide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.
- YOU will be able to create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting students in developing and by role modeling effective coping strategies.
- YOU will be able to complete appropriate documentation and paperwork as necessary to include onsite visitor & offsite overnight passes. Coordinate and process all client medication paperwork in accordance with the state required Medication Administration Program (MAP).
- YOU will will maintain health records for all youth making sure all are up to date with medical, dental, vision, and if applicable all other health and wellness goals/needs. Scheduling appointments and follow ups. And any other duties under the RFR and DCF Medical policy
- YOU will be able to work collaboratively with the Program Nurse and Program Director to facilitate and maintain compliance with the MAP Policy Manual, as well as MAP policy specific to Journey Home and ensure all MAP Certified staff are in compliance with annual trainings, CPR/First Aid, and MAP recertification.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts Medication Administration Program.
- MAP Certified preferred.
- Experience working with adolescent population in a clinical/residential setting preferred.
