QUALIFICATIONS
- Managerial experience, preferably in the animal care industry
- Previous animal care experience
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Strong positive reinforcementbased training skills
- Strong project management, followthrough, and organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Availability during weekends, holidays, or callouts for escalated issues
Preferred:
- Training certificate
- Ability to be outside regardless of weather
- Ability to be physically active for 8 hours
- Ability to communicate about canine behavior using proper terminology
- Proficiency in our kennel software and the ability to use social media
- A positive, calm attitude
WHAT TO EXPECT
You're at the heart of creating and executing personalized plans for every dog under our care. Your role involves overseeing daily operations across various programs, such as Training, Petey's Pals, and behavior-challenged daycare dogs.
Using your deep understanding of our programs, you match dogs with the best-fit program, keeping parents informed and suggesting additional training options when needed.
Once enrolled, you're dedicated to helping each dog achieve their unique goals, providing regular updates to parents and internal teams.
Working closely with supervisors and management, you ensure smooth coordination across all areas of our business. Your commitment is key to the success of our programs and the happiness of our furry friendsABOUT US
