    We are seeking a skilled Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to drive the company's financial strategy and improve overall performance.

    **Duties:**

    • Works with the Board of Directors and other executives to establish short term objectives and long-range plans and related plans and policies.
    • Presents quarterly reports on the status Pacific Glazing's operations to the board of directors and to company staff.
    • Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them to PGC's objectives and responding appropriately to correct performance and results.
    • Prepares financial statements, including income statement, balance sheets & WIP report.
    • Prepares and files quarterly and yearly state and federal payroll tax returns and other governmental agency reports.
    • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
    • Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits, providing information to external auditors.
    • Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances, making investments.
    • Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
    • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
    • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
    • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
    • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant entities.
    • Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and overseeing training employees.
    • Oversees insurance function to assure company's assets are safeguarded from all possible exposure.
    • Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

    **Skills:**

    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

    Fiscal management

    Leadership abilities

    Strong revenue management skills

    Experience in general ledger accounting

    Expertise in financial statement preparation

    Knowledge of corporate finance principles

    Understanding of profit and loss statements

    Knowledge of Construction industry preferred
