    Summary of position:

    We are looking for a sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic Receptionist Specialist Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate is someone that is passionate about working in a care team model with a personal responsibility of providing care for our orthopaedics patients and clinical support to the team. The right candidate will be able to provide an exceptional patient care experience that promotes healing and recovery, and having an attention to detail mindset while being caring and compassionate.

    This position is for our Westover Hills and Babcock locations.

    What You'll Do:
    • Functions as a team lead to the clinical manager responsible for training receptionists, managing team schedules, managing timecards and assisting with implementation of new processes.
    • Assists in implementation of policies and procedures for reception team.
    • Manages staff schedule and time off requests.
    • Trains and mentors new and current staff.
    • Provides initial "point of contact" for the reception team.
    • Coordinates with Clinic Manager regarding all problems/issues related to Check in/Check out.
    • Assists with performance reviews on assigned staff and provides feedback to the clinical manager.
    • Recognizes reception issues and concerns and works with clinic manager to resolve issues.
    • Helps foster a positive work environment and promotes teamwork.
    • Assists clinic manager with goals and helps staff achieve them.
    • Participate in and assist with development of operational metrics and dashboards for reception team.
    • Is the initial point of contact for patient complaints in office. Elevates complaints to clinic manager.
    • Runs bi-monthly missing ticket reports.
    • Schedules quarterly meetings with team to identify issues and conduct training, reports issues to clinic manager.
    • Logs in building work orders on the work order website.
    • Is required to be a part of the Medical Marvels team.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    What You'll Need:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Medical Front Office or administrative experience preferred
    • Management/Leadership experience preferred
    • 1-2 years of receptionist experience, to include Medical insurances. Must have leadership qualities.
    • Must have exceptional customer service and good interpersonnel skills. Must be computer literate, with basic knowledge of MS office products, and general office machines such as fax, copier, etc..

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires prolonged sitting, stretching, and some bending. Requires eye hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopies, telephone, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate information to patients and team members. Normal but fast-paced work environment.

    OTHER: Other duties as assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as needed, by your immediate supervisor or as directed by the company.
